Application:

Decis Mega 50 EW is a stomach and contact insecticide used to control biting and piercing-sucking pests. It has a neutral effect on cultivated plants, acting only on the surface.

According to the label, you can use the product to eliminate insects in agricultural crops, orchards, and home vegetable and flower beds. It is effective for protecting plant species such as:

• Winter rapeseed
• blackcurrant
• sugar beet
• spring barley
• head cabbage
• strawberry

The Decis Mega 50 EW plant protection product comes with a label that should be read before use. You can also find it on the product page in our gardening store. Deltamethrin, an organic chemical from the synthetic pyrethroid group, is responsible for the insecticidal action of the product. The active ingredient is designed to control biting-sucking pests. It penetrates the cell membrane of pest neurons and blocks their sodium channels. Deltamethrin blocks neurotransmitter enzymes, resulting in complete paralysis of the targeted insects.

Preparing the Decis Mega 50 EW for use:

To ensure effective protection for your plants, prepare the insecticide properly before use. According to the label, the dose of Decis Mega 50 EW per 100 liters of water is 15 to 25 milliliters. This dose should be sufficient to spray a one-hectare field. After measuring the concentrate, pour it into the sprayer’s tank with the agitator engaged, which has been filled approximately halfway with water. Before discarding the insecticide container, rinse it with water (ideally three times) and pour the resulting mixture into the previously prepared application solution. While spraying the crop with Decis Mega 50 EW, the sprayer’s agitator must be running at all times. If your sprayer doesn’t have an automatic agitator, mix the mixture mechanically. Failure to do so may result in a solution with reduced activity.
