Gallup Special 360 SL
Gallup Special 360 is selective Herbicide With Systemic Action In The Form Of A Concentrate, Controlling All Green Plants.
Gallup Special is a selective herbicide with systemic action, applied foliarly, in the form of a concentrate for aqueous solution (SL). According to the HRAC classification, the active ingredient glyphosate belongs to group 9, which is a key enzyme in the shikimic acid metabolic pathway involved in the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids. In the plant, it inhibits the synthesis of proteins essential for plant growth. Gallup Special 360 SL is applied after harvest, before post-harvest cultivation, in apple orchards, and in unused areas. The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers and handheld sprayers. The first symptoms of the product’s action (yellowing and wilting) are visible 7-10 days after application. Complete plant death occurs after approximately 3 weeks. High temperature, humidity, and strong sunlight accelerate the effect of the product.
When using a glyphosate-based product, it’s worth considering the long-term effects of the treatment. AS Premium, a dedicated glyphosate adjuvant, significantly reduces weed regrowth. This product enhances the penetration and transport of the active ingredient into the plants.
AS Premium exhibits water conditioning properties by:
- influence on increasing droplet adhesion,
- wetting properties,
- reducing water hardness,
- regulating the pH of the spray liquid
Content of active substances of the plant protection product Gallup Special 360 SL:
- glyphosate (a compound from the aminophosphonate group) – 360 g/l (31%) in the form of isopropylamine salt.
Benefits of using Gallup Special spraying:
- Highly effective,
- rapid action,
- the best way to control weeds,
- destroys all annual and perennial weed species, including the very troublesome couch grass,
- effective elimination of fallow and uncultivated land,
- easy and wide range of use
Gallup Special – what weeds does it work on?
According to the HRAC classification, the active ingredient glyphosate is classified as group 9, a key enzyme in the shikimic acid metabolic pathway involved in the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids. In the plant, it inhibits the synthesis of proteins essential for plant growth. The agent is absorbed by the green parts of the plant (leaves, green shoots, and non-woody bark), then travels throughout the plant and reaches its underground parts (roots, stolons, etc.), causing their death. The first symptoms of the agent’s action (yellowing and wilting) are visible 7-10 days after application. Complete plant death occurs after approximately 3 weeks. High temperature and humidity, as well as strong sunlight, accelerate the agent’s action.
